Dr. Mar, her husband and daughter have made Sacramento their home for over 30 years. She also earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and was recognized with an award for Clinical Excellence. She is certified in the administration of Oral Conscious Sedation and is an active member of the Sacramento District Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Her love for dentistry is evidenced by her progression from Registered Dental Assistant, to Registered Dental Hygienist to Doctor of Dental Surgery. She is uniquely skilled and familiar in all aspects of the delivery of dental care, having both practiced at multiple levels and having taught Dental Assisting continuing education courses at Sacramento City College. She is currenly teaching an Registered Dental Assistant Extended Function program.
In keeping with our practice philosophy of providing the highest standard of care, she is dedicated to placing our patients' needs first, while always focusing on personal attention and education. When not at work, Dr. Mar is active in both professional and community services. Friendly, cheerful and sociable, she enjoys spending time with family and friends golfing, hiking and skiing. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
The senior associate on the team of dental professionals at Mar & Yee Dental Corporation, Dr. Lee is a native Sacramentan and has a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from California State University at Sacramento in addition to his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.
Dr. Lee is committed to quality care, high professional standards and community service. It is his goal to provide personalized care for each and every patient. Through his friendly, caring manner and his gentle touch, patients know they are in good hands.
Professional memberships include the Sacramento District Dental Society, the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. When not working Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, painting, photography and just spending time with family and friends.
An associate doctor on the team of dental professionals at Mar & Yee Dental Corporation, Dr. Le attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Biochemistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California San Francisco as a regent scholar. While in dental school, Dr. Le served as a teaching assistant in the dental restorative and anesthesia departments. To further her dental expertise, Dr. Le completed a full year of a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in San Francisco.
Dr. Le and her husband lives in Sacramento with their two children. When not working in the dental office, Dr. Le enjoys traveling and going to the beach with her family. If time permits, Dr. Le loves to cook and catch up on her reading.
